Our passage, Colossians 1:24–2:5, answers the question, “Why do we exist?” Paul expresses an urgent call to proclaim the message that Jesus Christ died for our sins. While there is nothing lacking in Christ’s work for our salvation, our task is to ensure that people hear about it. As followers of Christ, we are called to look for opportunities to enthusiastically share the gospel and make the good news of Jesus known to all with whom we come into contact.
